The Book Review

Eventually, you will come out of this assignment with a 250 word book review on a book you've read.


This is an assignment for all classes and serves many purposes. It gives me a heads up on your writing style and writing problems, it explains the writing process and we can go through it and iron out issues with format, structure, style, basic mechanics, and basic grammar, so that by the time the first essay is due you will know what I'm looking for in the basics.

We may not follow the exact order for this page. I might assign the rough draft the first day of class and then backtrack to brainstorming and outlining.
